New Orleans Queen of Bounce, Big Freedia, is released his brand new sizzling video for the track "Dangerous," on April 1, the same day as the season finale of season 3 of the hugely successful Big Freedia: Queen of Bounce. Off the 2014 LP Just Be Free, the video features The Big Easy Rollergirls.
"The Rollergirls captured the essence of the Big Freedia movement," says the video's co-producer and Big Freedia's manager Renee Moncada, who met the Rollergirls during a trip to New Orleans last year and came up with the idea for the video. "They're a raw, fiercely competitive group of women. I loved their energy."
"Dangerous" was produced by Bert Company Media and directed by Big Freedia's creative director, Wilberto Lucci, and shot at the UNO Human Performance Center in New Orleans.
Big Freedia is wrapping up a European tour, where she and The Shake Team brought Bounce to Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin and Oslo. His memoir, Big Freedia: God Save The Queen Diva!, is set for release on July 7 on Simon & Schuster.
Season 4 of the network's top rated show will air this fall.
